It’s been six months since Pixie has joined our family. It was love at first sight for the family, but Pixie was still exploring her space. It’s safe to say that she’s made herself at home. When she first came to live with us, she slept either under the kids bed (to hide from them) or in her cat bed under my desk. Now, our cat will sleep just about anywhere.
Pixie is currently not a fan of Jaxson. I get it. Four-year-olds are loud and unpredictable. She usually runs when he get within two feet of her. He likes to pick her up in ways undignified for cat, including upside down. The only time she’ll get close to him is when he’s asleep. She’s also glaring at my husband for waking her up with the camera flash.
Her second favorite place to sleep is on my desk. Yes, my desk is sometimes that messy. But I keep the area in front of my monitor pretty clear. Yet she chooses to sleep on my pile of things.
Here is Pixie again, sleeping on a pile of random things. She looks so happy with my fingerless gloves as her pillow. So cute! Don’t worry, I’ve cleaned my desk since I took those photos. Then again, it’s messy again.
Pixie’s favorite place to sleep is on my bed. Especially if either my husband or I am in bed. It’s cold in my mini-office, so I’ve been working on my laptop in bed, under my heating blanket. I think Pixie didn’t want me to do any work since she’s sleeping atop my planner. I can see her smiling!
Do you have pets? Where do they like to sleep?
