I love to read but have to sneak it in around kids, housework, blogging and other things. Sometimes I deliberately avoid reading books because I can get sucked into a good one. I end up ignoring all of the above things until I finish it.
Luckily I’m a fast reader. I’m also not a monogamous reader. I usually have my head in several different books at a given time. It depends on my mood, you know?
For 2011, I’ve decided to keep track of all the books I’ve read. I don’t have any specific goals, but it’d be nice to have a record of them. Maybe make a few notes about it.
For the sake of this record, electronic books will count as well since I have the Kindle app for my phone. I’ll probably include any craft books I read as well.
Next on my list, I just received a copy of Mr. Rosenblum Dreams in English: A Novel for the online book club, From Left to Write. I’m looking forward to starting it.
