Window Shopping For a Second Honeymoon

Last month my husband and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary. Yay us! We really wanted to go away for to celebrate but getting someone to watch the kids for an extended period of time proved difficult, as we don’t live near our families. I know when the kids are older, we’ll have a chance to go away somewhere, just the two of us.  In the meantime, I can dream and window shop trips.

After going on a Caribbean cruise for our honeymoon, we want to hit a land based inclusive resort for our second honeymoon. When I asked hubby where he’d want to go, without a beat, he responded, “Cancun.” So off I went to Room77 to plan my dream trip. Even if we can’t go on our trip yet, it counts as research.

I know nothing about the inclusive resorts in Cancun, Mexico, but it was easy to find them in my search results on Room77. Once my search results were up, in order to find the inclusive resorts, I clicked the “free breakfast” filter. Then I also filtered by free wi-fi. Hey, I’m a social media gal, I like my wi-fi, even if I’m chilling by the pool.

After my filters, one place stood out: Live Aqua Luxury All Inclusive Adults Only. The “Adults Only” part caught my eye. Once I pulled the resort’s page, Room77 gave me easy to read details about the resort, tips, and booking costs. The site will not only gave me their rates for the resort but other travel sites’ rates as well. I like be able to see the competitor’s rates along side Room77’s rates.

As you can see, Room 77’s rates is not the lowest rate for the hotel and dates I chose. However if I book via Room 77, my trip qualifies for their room concierge service. The room concierge service sounds really cool. I tell Room 77 what my preferences are for my room and they’ll contact the hotel 24 hours before I arrive and make those requests for me. Once less thing to worry about while I try to pack for my trip.

I also liked the Insider Tips on the right hand side of the page. Things I wouldn’t think of like where the quietest rooms are, which rooms have the best ocean view, even which rooms are bigger. If I want more info about the hotel, there’s a link at the top of the page to TripAdvisor reviews. I read the ones for Live Aqua and the place sounds fabulous.

I found Room 77 very user friendly and easy to navigate. I would have liked to be able do a broader search for flexible dates or to learn which time of the year was the most budget friendly to visit Cancun. I did a Google search to find out the latter. It’s usually in the summer months.

If you’re planning on a trip, try out Room 77. It’s a one stop search to find great deals on hotel stays. I plan on going window shopping for another trip. Maybe Hawaii, next time?

Never wonder whether you’ve gotten the best deal on your hotel room again. Check out Room 77 when planning your next travel adventure!
