During Blogalicious, I actually woke up at sunrise to take a yoga class with Takeyah Young on the Miami beach. I couldn't have asked for a better experience for my first yoga class. I've done some yoga DVDs but it's not the same.
The workout was challenging for me. I wanted to give up several times. But sitting on my sandy mat with the warmth of the rising sun on my face and a cool breeze through my hair reminded to stay in the moment and just take it minute by minute.
I'm really glad I did.
