Whenever my sink is piled full of dirty dishes and the counters hold pots that need scrubbing, I go to my happy place: my dream kitchen.
Yes, that’s what I fantasize about as a forty-something year old mother. A large, well-lit kitchen with plenty of counter space and sparkling smart appliances. I can’t be the only one, right?
The appliance I’d want to upgrade first is a new refrigerator. On the top of my list is LG’s InstaView Door-in-Door refrigerators.
When I attended Mom 2.0 Summit a couple of years ago, I got an in-depth look at one. Since then, LG has added even more features.
Features I’m Excited About
How many times has your family thrown the fridge door open and stared into it, hoping something they like will jump at them? Every. Day. No matter how many times I tell them to close the door, they still do it.
It makes me crazy because leaving the door open warms up the fridge and wastes electricity. LG Instaview fridges allow you too see what’s inside by knocking on the door.
Yes, you read that right. Knock on the door twice and it goes from opaque to transluscent. Check out my video from Mom 2.0 Summit:
There’s also a smaller door built into it so you can quickly pull out drinks and snacks. Without opening the entire door. More efficient and faster!
It makes craft ice!
An idea evening would include settle down with a nice cocktail and catching up on The Great British Baking Show. I love ordering craft cocktails when I’m out, but most nights I’d rather Netflix and actually chill.
I’ve tried to make my own fancy craft ice “cubes” but end up making the ugliest spheres. Or a mess in my fridge.
Guess what? The LG’s InstaView Door-in-Door makes fancy ice cubes. I mean, you could be the coolest parent in your neighborhood. Throw happy hours in your home and pull out a tray of craft ice?!
My cats would probably be entertained with craft ice in their water bowl, too.
But, wait, there’s more
There’s tons more awesome features in LG’s fridges, but you should check it out for yourself.
I have to go clean my not-so-smart kitchen. And dream about craft ice.
