My kids love showing off their love of science with fun t-shirts. They were super excited to show their new National Geographic Weird But True shirts from Crazy 8. Sophia and Jaxson are big fans of National Geographic’s Weird But True books, so they jumped at the chance to wear a weird fact on their shirt.
If your kids are like mine, they like to surprise me with facts they’ve learned from the Weird But True books. Now they can share the facts with everyone sees their t-shirt. It was tough for them to choose just one shirt from the 8 different designs, but here’s what they chose.
Jaxson loves anything space related, especially Pluto and other dwarf planets. I was not surprised when he chose the Moon Tee. The weird fact on the shirt is “Astronauts Can’t Whistle on the Moon.” Do you know why? If you ask Jaxson, he’ll be happy to tell you!
What’s cuter than baby animals? Sophia opted for this super adorable Baby Porcupine Tee. The weird but true fact is “A baby porcupine is called a porcupette.” Sophia’s currently into t-shirts with cute animals on them.
I have a feeling we’ll need to add a few more National Geographic t-shirts to their collection. I think Jaxson would want the Spider Tee to creep out his dad and Sophia would go for the Butterflies Tee.
The shirts are currently available at Crazy 8 online and in-stores. Everyone who shops in-store will receive a free Weird But True book with purchase (while supplies last). Find your nearest Crazy 8 store here.
