2012 Holiday Gift Guide For Kids w Giveaways

Have you started your holiday shopping yet? We’re keeping Christmas low key this year in the I’m Not the Nanny household, but I do have a few more gifts to pick up for the kids. Here are a few of our favorite things. It’s up to you to tie them up with string.

Don’t forget to enter the giveaway to enter to win some of the items on the gift guide! Here goes:

Orangutan Van by SteveSongs My kids are huge fans of SteveSongs aka Mr. Steve. Orangutan Van is his newest album, but the songs already felt familiar to our family. We’ve seen Mr. Steve perform live several times and he workshopped some of the songs on this album at his concerts. We feel like insiders. Or groupies I guess.
The songs do not disappoint. They are catchy and fun plus you’ll catch yourself dancing to them. The album doesn’t officially release until January, but if you order it from SteveSongs.com, it’ll ship mid-December. Just in time for Christmas! Retails for $14.99
Rabbit Days and Dumplings Elena Moon Park, a member of Dan Zane and Friends, struck out on her own with debut album Rabbit Days and Dumplings. Park introduces us to updated versions of songs from China, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, and Tibet. I love that these folk and children’s songs are mix of English and native languages. It’s a beautiful album and a fun way to introduce your children to East Asian inspired music. Dan Zane even makes an appearance.  Retails $12.56 at Amazon.com.
