My kids love bubble baths. I love giving them bubble baths. I can sit next to them and read a magazine while they play. What I don’t love is that Jaxson still loves to drink the soapy water that he’s been soaking in. At first it was cute because he was “making” tea and smoothies from the bubbles and bath water. Now, he thinks it’s hilarious that we tell him to stop drinking it for real. I worry that drinking the soapy bath water will make him sick (besides the ick factor).
I was really excited that Seventh Generation has a new line of baby bath and body products aka the Wee Generation line. Seventh Generation has introduced a complete line of USDA certified biobased baby personal care products. That means that 97% of their product is made from plant based products. These products contain no synthetic fragrances, phthalates and parabens plus they’re gluten free. Pretty awesome, right?
When my basket of Wee Generation goodies arrived, can you guess which one I tried first? Yep, the bubble bath. I’ve never had good luck with bubbles from an all natural product, but I was impressed by how well it foamed as I ran the Jaxson’s bath. As I read the list of ingredients on the back, I noticed how consumer friendly it was. I also love how Seventh Generation also lists “Love, Compassion & Care” as an ingredient.
I wished that Wee Generation products existed when Sophia was a baby. Though I confess, I’m using the Wee Generation baby lotion on her and we like it a lot. Another thing I wish I had learned back then is infant massage. Infant massage benefits both the baby and the mom (dad, grandma, caretaker, etc). Nuturing touch is so critical for our children’s growth and development. Even though my kids are too old for baby massage, I love it when they sit on my lap and cuddle with me. Learn more about infant massage at Liddle Kidz Foundation, an organization for infant massage and pediatric massage professionals.
Are you ready to win some Wee Generation Baby products? Seventh Generation has offered two baskets of their new Wee Generation Baby Bath & Body Products line. Retailing a $50 each, the basket includes the goodies in the first photo (see my little guy attempting to photobomb it?): bubble bath, body lotion, sunscreen, foaming shampoo & wash, diaper cream, and shampoo & wash.
