Even Curvy Gals Need A #WindowStyle Makeover

Me & Robin. Not the my most stylish look at a blogging event

I love my curves. I've never been a skinny person and it took me 18 years to accept it. My curves are beautify and sexy. I own them. Especially when I'm wearing my awesome bra. They make my girls look hot.

Sheila Dowd & Me (see that's my good bra)

As comfortable as I am about my body, shopping for plus sized clothing is not fun for my self-confidence. I'm a short, plump gal but most plus size clothing assumes I'm Xena the Amazon Princess Warrior. So my 2X t-shirts hit me at mid thigh. Knee length skirts are tea length. You get the point. Though I wouldn't mind being Xena. I always wished I could make that warrior scream she did. I'll bet my kids would pay attention to me if my warrior cry was like hers.

See what my kids make me do?

If you've seen me at blogging conferences, I look cute. Totally cute. Now if you ran into me at Trader Joe's or the park, I'm wearing jeans and a boring t-shirt. There might or might not be muffin top depending on how high the heat was when hubby dried my jeans. I'm in a serious fashion rut, but at least I'm boobylicious, thanks to my good bras. Hey, you gotta start somewhere, right?

So when I heard about Microsoft Windows Style Makeover sweepstakes, I knew I had to enter. I even made a Pinterest board with my dream wardrobe. It was fun window shopping for clothes. You know what I realized? I like red dresses. A lot of them.

I wish I could wear dresses everyday. It doesn't seem practical with 2 little kids. Going down the double slide in a dress with my toddler doesn't seem to be a good idea. Ooo, maybe I should have pinned some bloomers to my Pinterest board. Do they make bloomers for adults?

Yes, my toddler is cute, but he runs fast at the park. And likes to climb up high. He usually wants me to follow him. How can you say no to that face? He's always jumping on me and climbing on me. I'm a human jungle gym to him.

So, if I win this makeover, I hope the stylist can show me how I can look cute and boobylicious but still be comfortable enough to chase my adorable toddler around. I hope that's not too tall of an order.

In writing this post, I'm entering the Microsoft Windows Style Makeover sweepstakes for a chance to win a head to toe makeover!
