Get Ready for the Holiays with Card Direct & Giveaway

I used to be really good about sending birthday and holiday cards. I remembered not only my immediate family's birthdays but good friends too. Or at least I remembered early enough to pick up cards to pop in the mail. I even sent out holiday cards every year. Then I had kids.

These days, I usually remember my parents' birthday the day before or the day of. Too late to send cards! And holiday cards? Forget about it!

Well, I'm taking initiative this year. I'm going to get my Christmas cards early this year from Cards Direct. I know it's not even October yet, and I'm talking about holiday cards. But I'm feeling ambitious.

Ok maybe I'm not that ambitious as I'm thinking about just picking up some holiday photo cards so I don't have to do too much writing. Everyone will ooh and aah over the kids and forget that I haven't sent them a Christmas cards in over 5 years.

Cards Direct also has business greeting cards. When I'm on the ball, I snail mail thank you cards to my hostesses after her Passion Party is held. I always feel special when I receive a thoughtful, handwritten card in the mail. I hope my hostesses feel the same way when receive my cards.

If you don't have time to customize your photo cards or wade through all the many different designs, that Cards Direct has many different card assortments.

Here's your chance to win twenty-five cards up to a $50 value at Cards Direct. Just leave a comment on why you do or don't mail handwritten cards.

For extra entries you can tweet this giveaway. Due to the company's shipping restrictions this giveaway is for US residents only. Giveaway ends October 12, 2010.

I received a gift certificate from Cards Direct to host this giveaway. Which is good because I've forgotten both of my parents' birthday this year so I have to make it up with some cute photo cards.
